A message from our Counsellor, Mrs Lynn Noble

My name is Lynn and I provide counselling in Alexander Dickson on a Wednesday every week. I have provided counselling in ADPS last term working with P1-P7 children. I am trained to help children manage their emotions, deal with difficult family or peer relationships and offer support for those children who have been affected by lockdown. Anxiety is the most common reason children seek counselling. Talking to a counsellor can help children understand what particular situations in their lives are causing their anxiety. We help children to find a strategy that works best for them.
