P4/5
Welcome to P4/5!
The children in P4/5 are an enthusiastic group who love to be busy.
Miss Wightman is our teacher and Mrs Booth and Mrs Jones both assist in the classroom.
Have a look at what we get up to below. For existing parents, please check Class Dojo for more updates.

First day of school
World War 2
Children have been learning about World War 2 and the different events that occurred. We also had a visit from the 'Northern Ireland War Museum' which was a great afternoon. They saw many wonderful photographs that showed what life was like during the war, including the different jobs people had and how families had to use ration books because food was limited. The pictures and displays helped us understand what everyday life might have been like for children and adults at that time. We also explored real artefacts from the war, such as equipment and clothing used by soldiers. One of the most exciting parts of the visit was when the children got to dress up in war uniforms and imagine what it might have been like to live during World War II. It was a fascinating and memorable afternoon that helped bring history to life.

Extreme Earth
P4/5 learnt about 'Extreme Earth' which involves learning about all the natural disasters that might happen to our Earth. We enjoyed learning about volcanoes and earthquakes.
P4/5
We worked as part of a group to create paper mache models of volcanoes and erupted them in the playground. We made a video of our progress and we hope you enjoy watching it.
School and Eco Council
P4 and P5 pupils made compelling speeches to the class to try to be elected onto the Eco and School Council. We are delighted that; Abbie, Jacob, Mason, James H and Kayla were elected onto the School Council. For Eco council we were so proud to welcome; Kacie, Bella, Michael and Finlay. We look forward to having them represent our class at Student and Eco Council to bring exciting improvements to our school and outdoor areas.
Eco Week Activities
We took part in Eco week with lots of fun activities;
- Litter picking in the playground.
- 'Lights out' in the classroom.
- Weeding our classroom planter in the school garden.
Restart a Heart, Live
