P4/5
Welcome to P4/5!
The children in P4/5 are an enthusiastic group who love to learn.
Mrs Fee is our teacher and Mrs Shanks and Mrs Cherry both assist in the classroom.
Have a look at what we get up to below. For existing parents, please check Class Dojo for more updates.
Deforestation - Persuasive Letter Writing
P4/5 were learning about what deforestation is and the dangerous consequences of it. We wrote persuasive letters to the Prime Minister, asking for his help to stop deforestation! We enjoyed walking through our beautiful village to post our letters to 10 Downing Street.
Friendship Week
To celebrate 'Friendship Week' we wore crazy and colourful pairs of odd socks! Our odd socks taught us that we can celebrate how we are all unique and that we can accept others being different from us.
Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service
The NIFRS visited our P5 pupils to discuss how to prevent fires at home, how to call for help and how to exit your house safely if a fire does happen. P5 had lots of fun trying on the firefighters' clothing and equipment!
Student Council
P4 and P5 pupils made compelling speeches to the class to try to be elected as their year group's student councillor. We are delighted that Alexander has been nominated for P4 and that Riley has been nominated for P5. We look forward to having Alexander and Riley represent our class at Student Council to bring exciting improvements to our school.
